YAN DE, born in Shan Zhe, China, was destined and ordained as a Shaolin Monk in 1994 in Song Shan ,Shaolin Temple, one of China’s most respected authentic tradition in Buddhism; skilled and possess the necessary depth to perform all creed empowerment in Buddhist rituals; Yan De had spent a total of 8 years in formal studies in three different sanctuarized  Buddhist Colleges; gone on pilgrimage with many eminent Buddhist elders, and conducted conventions, and delivered Dharma talks and messages to thousands throughout Asia and America, graciously representing Shaolin Temple with dignity. He is well known for his prolific writings, at one time, he published 70 essays in two months, he is also a gifted, inclined poet, calligrapher,and passionately musical,an accomplished Chinese string player and vocalist, It is a once-in-a-lifetime fortune to meet and learn from the unrelenting cultivated meditation Master. Yan De is an institution in himself,the 34th Patriarch of Shaolin Order in YI.
